Philadelphia, PA – November 20, 2009 – With the end of 2009 fast approaching, Untra Corporation is proud to bring its 10th year of business to a close.  Untra is a complete information technology and web solutions provider based in Philadelphia, PA.  Since its incorporation in 1999, Untra has been working with small to medium sized businesses who want to spend less time solving their technology problems and more time focusing on their business. Untra provides comprehensive, highly customized, complete IT and web solutions that meet the needs and budgets of their very satisfied clients. As the holiday season approaches, founder and CEO, Mustafa Sualp, and his growing staff reflect on and celebrate the company’s great successes over the past ten years.

In the spring of 2006, Untra grew into its current offices in historic Philadelphia, at 234 Market Street in the heart of Old City.  Later that year, Untra expanded into Drexel University’s Edmund D. Bossone’s Enterprise Research Center upon signing an annual contract with Drexel University’s School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems to provide complete IT solutions including special projects and events coordination.  Such relationships justify the growth of Untra Corporation, boasting 40% revenue growth between 2005 and 2006, followed by 36% revenue growth between 2006 and 2007.

2008 proved to be another exciting year for Untra with the launch of UntraAMS, their Academic Management Solutions provider.  UntraAMS’s feature product, the Academic, Evaluation, Feedback, and Intervention System (AEFIS) was presented at the ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) Best Practices Symposia in Atlanta, Georgia.  AEFIS serves as the first Instructional Decision Support System (IDSS) with features to support personalized learning and assessment management for higher education institutions.  With the support of the National Science Foundation in partnership with Drexel University’s School of Biomedical Engineering, AEFIS was further developed to be piloted by Drexel University’s College of Engineering.  AEFIS’s website (www.goaefis.com) was launched in March of this year while Untra Academic Management Solutions, LLC was created in September to further expand the company.

During the development of AEFIS, Untra Corporation continued to grow by creating numerous relationships with many individuals and businesses within the community.  The team’s expansion efforts have not gone unnoticed. Untra Corporation was recognized as one of twenty small businesses in the Philadelphia area to participate in the Small Business Administration’s Emerging 200 Initiative.  In October of this year, Untra Corporation was ranked in the Philadelphia Business Journal and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School’s Philadelphia 100®, recognizing it as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the Philadelphia area.
